About Global Health Corps
Global Health Corps (GHC) is a leadership development organization focused on building the next generation of diverse, disruptive global health leaders. Founded in 2009, we competitively recruit talented professionals (ages 21-30) from a range of sectors and backgrounds and place them in high-impact roles within partner organizations -- including Clinton Health Access Initiative, Partners in Health, Planned Parenthood Global, and Government Ministries in Zambia, Rwanda, and Uganda -- working on the front lines of health equity in Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, the US, and Zambia.
GHC is seeking fellows from a wide range of backgrounds, geographies, and expertise. Through a one-year paid fellowship program, fellows provide the expertise and leadership potential needed to fill capacity gaps in global health.
About the Placement Organization
The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) seeks to prevent pediatric HIV infection and to eradicate pediatric AIDS through research, advocacy and prevention, and treatment programs. The Foundation is working to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV and to give children and families who live with HIV/AIDS a chance for a healthy future. Before the Foundation’s inception, children affected by HIV and AIDS had no voice – and few medicines and interventions were available specifically for them. Thanks to the courageous efforts of Elizabeth Glaser and those who follow in her footsteps, the Foundation improves life for millions of children and families affected by AIDS each year by funding groundbreaking scientific research, providing lifesaving services, and advocating for children around the globe. The Foundation is currently providing support to 4,500 sites, in 17 countries worldwide. Our organizational values are: innovation, passion, excellent teamwork, accountability and leadership.
