Responsible for all carpentry work in all health centers, all Neno hospitals and staff houses
Carry out carpentry repairs at all PIH/APZU hospitals, health centers and staff housing buildings, Carry out a preventive, planned maintenance program and undertake routine inspections of buildings, doors, locks, tables, chairs for required repairs, Construct small works such as partition walks, curtain rods, forms, Perform assessments of sites and create detailed materials lists, Provide daily progress report to manager and infrastructure clerk, Be responsible for an y materials and tools that belong to APZU infrastructure dept, Working in a team or independently
NNT Grade 1 Carpentry, MSCE, Minimum 5 yrs of relevant experience, Highly experienced in using power tools (drill machine, router, sander, band saw, table saw, circular saw, reciprocating saw), Knowledge of different types of fasteners and their use (wood screws, masonry screws, (tap cons), sheet metal screws), Willingness and ability to learn new skills as related to carpentry, Strong work ethic and good attitude, Ability to work independently with strong individual initiative, Excellent interpersonal skills, including respect for others and being attentive toward other’s needs, Ability to respond to frequently shifting needs with flexibility in a complex environment
