Mission and Mandate of MACOHA
MACOHA was established by an Act of Parliament, the Handicapped Persons Act of 1971 Cap: 33:02 as a statutory corporation, Its goal is to facilitate empowerment of people with disabilities to enable them to actively participate and be included in social economic development activities of their communities and the country
Is the Head of the Rehabilitation Dept that is core to the provision of programmes and services to persons with disabilities, The incumbent is responsible for planning, organising, coordinating, controlling and evaluation of rehabilitation programmes and services and reports to the Executive Director
Successful candidates must possess a Masters Degree in the field of Social Sciences, Public Administration, Business Administration plus a professional qualification from a recognised institution with 4 yrs working experience, Those with a Degree in Disability Law and Policy will have an added advantage
A good planer with excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills, A team builder with ability to work with minimum supervision, Extremely organised
