Luke International is an independent international organisation working with the Govt of the Republic of Malawi (GoM) in the areas of HIV/AIDS, TB and related health issues with an aim to improving the gathering of health information, LIN’s mission is to promote activities that increase local human capacity and technical competence for providing HIV/AIDS care and support to people living with HIV (PLWH) in Malawi, LIN is collaborating with the Ministry of Health, the Mzuzu University, hospitals in the Northern region, various HIV/AIDS working groups and international and domestic partners to provide ongoing technician assistance and integrated jointed health programmes
Community Project Officer – Luke International
A Bachelors degree or an advanced Diploma related to Community Development, At least 2 yr’s working experience with CBOs, At least 1 yr experience in tasks related to Financial management, Accounting Management or Administrative Management, At least 1 yr’s experience involved in tasks related to fundraising and donor reporting
Implementing the agreed action plan to the LIN community dept standards and project deadlines, Regular liaison with LIN Office on all project related matters, Ensuring the effective preparation and delivery of all project events and meetings and production of necessary documentation, Taking responsibility for the effective flow of information between team members, participants in project activities, and LIN, All matters related to project content
Fluent language ability in Chewa, Tumbuka and English, Extent of understanding of internet and compute packages i.e. MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Excellent communication, analytical and team work skills, Excellent report writing skills, Willing to work under pressure
