Lecturer/Senior Lecturer for the Business Administration Programme

Preparation of course materials in line with syllabi, Delivery of course materials in face to face lecture sessions, Administration of assignments and examinations in accordance with course syllabi and supervising/invigilating examinations, Marking of assignments and examinations within course deadlines, Advising students on professional development matters and supervising Senior Research Projects for undergraduate students
Minimum of a Masters in Business Administration or equivalent for undergraduate course Lecturers, Minimum of a PhD in Business Administration or its equivalent for MBA and PhD course Senior Lecturers, At least 2 yrs of teaching experience at the college of university level, A strong knowledge of the subject area combined with a broad subject background enabling contributions to teaching programmes and Dissertation and Thesis Supervision, Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, Ability to work collaboratively
Developing and managing collections of books and journals, Managing library, furniture and equipment, Maintaining relationships with external bodies such as suppliers, Managing and supporting the provision of reading lists and allocating length of loans, Creating, updating and managing information resources, both electronic and printed, Selecting, acquiring and cataloguing information using library and information software
Minimum of a Diploma in Library and Information Science, A strong knowledge of the subject area combined with a broad subject background enabling contributions to the academic library, Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, Ability to work collaboratively, Previous experience in academic library, management will be an added advantage
