The project is based in Blantyre and it is a specialised health research organisation that works towards the development of capacity for conducting high quality research protocols in Malawi.

Project Clinical Officer - Johns Hopkins Research Project – Blantyre

Clinical management of clients: history taking, physical examination, treatment, instructions, advice, etc, development of SOP, Implementation of the protocol in clinical areas e.g. adverse Events management and reporting, Quality assurance and quality control in clinical management of clients and their clinical related documents, Training other JHP staff on clinical management of clients and good clinical practice, Administrative and leadership roles in enhancing the performance of clinics in different studies

Shall be attached to specific study but is not an employee of the study and can be reassigned to any other study at the exigencies of the Project, Therefore the Clinical shall be familiar with all studies in the project as may be called upon to work in any of study at the discretion of the Principal investigator

Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Registered with Medical Council of Malawi

Research background preferred, Wiling to work at times as demanded by the protocols, Attention to details, Adherence to god clinical practice, Adherence to medical ethics as stipulated in medical and dentists act
