We are looking for a Programme Officer with regional knowledge and experience in building active citizenship and who can work in partnership with local organisations in complex political environments to help us translate our plans for development and justice into reality.
Job role
Working as part of the Mozambique team you will be responsible for developing the implementation of CAFOD’s actions in the governance and social and economic sector. We are seeking an individual with extensive experience of working in programmes of governance and social and economic justice, ideally also in Mozambique. You will have proven experience in programme cycle management, writing proposals and assessing reports, strategic planning and capacity building of local partners in the relevant sector.
Your profile
You will have a commitment to working in partnership, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to build and hold relationships with a broad range of people in various cultural contexts. You will have fluent written and spoken English and Portuguese.
