CAFOD is one of the UK’s leading relief and development agencies. We are looking for a Programme Officer with regional knowledge and experience in promotion of innovative actions towards sustainable livelihoods and who can work in partnership with local organisations in complex political environments to help us translate our plans for development and justice into reality.
Job role
Working as part of the Mozambique team you will be responsible for developing the implementation of CAFOD’s partners actions in sustainable livelihoods initiatives. We are seeking an individual with extensive experience of designing and working in programmes of Sustainable Livelihoods, ideally also in Mozambique. You will have proven experience in programme cycle management, writing proposals and assessing reports and capacity building of local partners in the relevant sector.
Your profile
You will have a commitment to working in partnership, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling you to build and hold relationships with a broad range of people in various cultural contexts. You will be fluent in written and spoken Portuguese and English.
