Project Officer – Nutrition

The position reports to the Project Manager and is based in Nairobi.
Job Specifications:-

To provide nutrition technical programming expertise and support program activities and implementation in close collaboration with the project team and relevant stakeholders.

Coordination of nutrition management of HIV/AIDS patients within the project and ensure development of an effective nutrition monitoring and evaluation system at household/community level.

The incumbent will have close coordination with National HIV/AIDS program, Division of Nutrition and other stakeholders to ensure AMREF nutrition activities are well aligned with national strategies and objectives are met.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a first degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or its equivalent with at least four (4) years of relevant work experience in managing community based nutrition programs preferably in the HIV/AIDS and TB field.
