Job Summary:
Reporting to the Head of Credit Risk, the Credit Analyst is responsible to assist in Risk Analytics and Financial Modelling and support the initiative by developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of the strategic management processes. The position holder also provides support in analysing risk based pricing models, developing and overseeing execution of the processes required to implement a robust Credit Risk Assessment and Management Systems and methodology and assists the enhancement of risk management practices by using quantitative methods to derive actionable insights and outcomes.

Job Specifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics,Finance, Mathematics or Engineering; A Master’s degree and certification in the area of Risk, Finance or IT will have added advantage;
- Experience in credit risk analytics, modeling and forecasting using industry accepted best practices, techniques and tools; knowledge of market and its competitive challenges;
- Demonstrated experience in credit risk analysis and management processes, technical and financial management functions;
- Proficiency in credit risk management and financial models;
- A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in banking of which 3 years should be in risk/control analytics environment. ;
