Engineer – GSM RAN
Reporting to the BSS Supervisor, the GSM RAN Engineer shall be responsible or GSM (2G and 3G) Network Operations and maintenance in various fields (BTS, Node B, Transmission and AC and DC power), Performs BSS and transmission capacity upgrades and optimisation, Performs BSS and transmission project implementation, Resolves technical customer complaint, Ensures that BSS network availability and quality are meeting the set GSM standards, Operates, maintains and supports on 2G and 3G BSS network elements, Maintains and supports 2G and 3G network elements
Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Telecommunications or relevant engineering field, GSM Radio Access Network equipment installations and maintenance, Requires highly motivated and result oriented persons willing to work odd hours, The applicants must be a self starter, fast learner and must have excellent communication skills, Experience will be an added advantage interested applicants are requested to submit their application and CV to The Head of Division – Human Resources, Telekom networks Malawi Limited, Livingstone Towers, P O Box 3039, Blantyre or email vacancies@tnm.co.mw to reach him no later than 25th August
