Nutrition Assistant Mentors – 3 posts – Baylor Children’s Foundation-Malawi - Lilongwe
Reporting to the Nutritionist, the Assistant Mentors will participate in the day to day operations of the clinic and be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, They will assist the counselling of patients an d their families regarding appropriate nutrition, and will participate in training other providers of paeditriac HIV and ART services regarding nutrition education, S/he will participate in mentorship at other health centers in Malawi through our outreach programs, focusing on adolescents living with HIV
Minimum of Certificate in Nutrition from a recognised institution, Diploma would be an added advantage, 3 yrs experience, Excellent communication skills in Chichewa and English, Ability to listen patiently and carefully, High respect and care for patients, Ability to work in a team oriented environment a must, Able to work with and respect adolescents living with HIV
