Project Officer – 1 – Mangochi District – We Effect
Coordinate the planning process to develop annual and quarterly work plans for the project at District level, Plan, design, organize and conduct capacity building for the communities and publishing reports for the community members and partners of the organization, Ensure corresponding financial planning and management to support implementation including annual and quarterly budgeting preparation, Represent the project and its interests at district level, Leverage/control available resources to expand and strengthen the reach and impact of the project, Promoting operational and functional relationship between the Project and other stakeholders, Writing and submitting monthly, quarterly and annual reports to management, Coordinating, supervising and monitoring the day to day activities, monthly, quarterly and annual performance of field staff, Any other business as may be assigned by management
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Natural Resources, Social Science, Community Development or Agriculture from a recognised institution, Not less than 5 yrs working experience in Natural Resource Management and working with rural livelihoods in land conservation and SALM Practices, Ability to work under pressure and meeting targets, Excellent communication skills, Ability to work with minimal supervision
