A medical Doctor or a Clinical Officer with Masters Degree in Public Health or equivalent, Proven track record in project management, with experience in managing projects in complex settings, In international organisation, minimum of 7 yrs relevant work experience in TB control and HIV/TB programs, Experience with ESAID and/or PEPFAR projects is desirable, Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and knowledge of the coal culture are an advantage, experience in capacity building, the ability to organise and prioritise with eye for detail
 
Is responsible for planning, designing, overseeing and following up of all technical areas under the Challenge TB program, S/he identifies and documents technically sound, cost-effective and practical approaches to enhance TB control that are consistent with Govt of Malawi National Strategic plan 2016-2020 S/he provides day to day supervision to in-country technical CTB KNCV start as per organogram, The Technical Coordinator work sin very close collaboration with other ISAID funded projects and partners to harmonise activities, This includes projects funded through the global Fund , S/he supports the National TB control program as needed, S/he will act as the CTB deputy Country Director and present the Country Director during his/her absence, The Technical Coordinator is expected to travel to the field about 30% of the time, He/she reports the Country Director.
