Futures Group develops and delivers innovative, locally relevant, evidence-based solutions to improve the health and well being of people around the world. This program will include activities to engage civil society organizations and community groups in learning about health rights and entitlements, the types of health services that are available, and the benefits of seeking services. Communities will use simple tools such as community score cards to monitor and influence service provision in their respective districts and health facilities on issues such as wait times, communication, stigma and discrimination, and availability of health staff and medications. These monitoring data will then be used to influence improvements in service provision and quality at the local/clinic level and to influence health policies in macro-level policy discussions.
