TEACHING ASSISTANTS

Electrical Engineering (3 positions) + Electronic Engineering (4 positions)
academic year 2014/2015

VACANCY NO. FET/ EE 4/ 2014
Duties: The successful applicant will be expected to: (i) assist course lecturers with laboratory practicals and tutorials in the respective subjects; (ii) mark laboratory reports; (iii) assist with research projects in the department. (iv) perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Electrical Engineering- At least a BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Power systems), or equivalent, with a 2(ii) pass or better.
Electronic Engineering- At least a BEng/BSc in Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Electronic systems), or equivalent, with a 2(ii) pass or better
For all positions: (i) Teaching experience will be an added advantage. (ii) Preference will be given to those who are enrolled in the department’s graduate programs.
