Project Officer- Qadira Muslim Association of Malawi (Qadria Muslim Development Programme) – Balaka District, 16 months duration
Reports to the Programme Manager/Executive Director
Will be able to coordinate the project at the district level and produce quarterly and annual technical progress reports
Produce timely and accurate monthly and quarterly progress reports, Liaise with govt depts, and partnering organisations and other key stakeholders at the district level, Develop quarterly work plan of activities for the project, Facilitate community mobilisation meetings and trainings on SRHR, Represent the organisation at district and regional forums on SRHR related programmes and meetings, Facilitate the establishment and capacity building of youth clubs in the geographic area
Diploma in either Community Development, Social Work or Nursing/midwifery with experience in family planning, sexual and reproductive health and rights, HIV and AIDS, 3-5 yrs experience in managing and/or implementing sexual and reproductive health and rights project, Good understanding of the development and/or current situation in relation to SRH in the country or regional level, Excellent organisational, communication, verbal and report writing skills, Understanding on community approaches, Understanding of sensitivity to the multicultural environment in which QMAM operates
