Field Nutrition Supervisor
Reporting to Nutrition Manager
Mobilise communities in liaison with local leadership to participate in project activities planning, implementation and monitoring, Further mobilise community leaders and communities to raise resources for the community level project activity implementation, Facilitate data collection, validation and update at various stages of the project implementation for proper targeting and data quality and also ensure proper utilisation of resources by frontline workers, volunteers and communities for project efficiency and effectiveness, Planning and carrying out community capacity building activities, through formal and on job trainings to ensure quality and timely implementation, Preparing monthly, quarterly and other routine reports as required for submission to the Nutrition manager, Facilitate formation or strengthen community level nutrition platforms in collaboration with govt front line staff and also network, collaborate and create work partnerships with community level stakeholders to ensure full involvement in project activities for sustainability Provide technical support and interpret project procedures, principles and other standards to Govt front line staff, communities and other stakeholders and also update management in a timely manner of any challenges being experienced in project implementation
Diploma ion Nutrition, Public Health or Rural Development and other fields with more than 3 yrs previous relevant professional experience, Demonstrable hands on experience in community mobilisation, Demonstrable hands on experience in implementation of the integrated community development projects in the following areas:- livelihoods, health and nutrition and nutrition using of care group models, Strong planning and report writing skills, Ability to transfer knowledge through formal and informal trainings to front line staff and communities, Willingness to spend up to 80% of the time in the communities, Must possess a clean motorcycle driver’s licence
