Financial Management Capacity Development Advisor

Conduct a baseline analysis to indicate which facilities are most in need of support, Revise and print standard manual on the Management of Financial and Material resources which was developed in 2006 for member units, Develop a capacity development programme, including all content and methodology for to reach all health facilities in need of financial management support, Train finance/accounts and other relevant personnel as per the revised manual, Provide other on the job training in financial management as required
Professional qualification in Accounting, Degree and postgraduate Degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar, Demonstrated knowledge of financial management standards and good practice, Demonstrable knowledge of god practices in capacity building and delivery of technical assistance, Demonstrable long-term TA, advocacy and coaching skills, Ability to multi task and cover multiple work streams simultaneously, Excellent Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills, Excellent spoken and written English and report writing skills, 10 yrs work experience in accounting and monitoring budgets in public and/or private sectors, 10 yrs providing capacity development, including long term TA to NGOs and CSOs, Excellent organisation, coordination and planning skills naturally committed and hardworking with ability to work under pressure, Ability and willingness to work full time in Lilongwe, Malawi with travel out to CHAM health facilities
