Adam Smith International (ASI) is a Leading UK consulting firm specialising in market systems development is implementing the Malawi Oilseed Sector transformation (MOST) programme on behalf of the UK’s Department for International development, The MOST programme seeks to transform the markets for oilseed crops through the use of a market systems approach
ASI seeks to recruit a full time Motoring and Results Measurement (MRM) Manager for immediate appointment, based in the MOST office in Lilongwe
Designing and managing all programme data collection activities including rapid assessments, studies, surveys and impact assessments, developing and managing MOST’s Results Management Systems in compliance with the DCED Standard for Results measurement, building the capacity of the MOST team to manage effective MRM systems, Promoting an organisational culture of evidence-based decision-making effective use of information and lesson learning, Regularly updating the team on real-time findings from intervention monitoring activities and promoting the use of this information to modify interventions, supporting the Intervention Managers with quarterly and annual reporting to DFID, Liaising with DFID’s External Review Team and assisting information requirements for the Annual Review of the programme
At least 5yrs experience in a field related to international development, research statistics or monitoring and evaluation, Experience implementing MRM systems for market development programmes and implementing the DCED Standard for Results Measurement, Experience designing survey tools and other data collection methodologies, Experience in data cleaning and analysis, including competency using statistical software such as STATA or SPAA, A strong understanding of private sector development and/or agricultural markets, Experience in Africa, with experience in Malawi desirable
