Reporting to Chief Executive Officer
 
Forward Contracting – Calculating the forward price and ensuring that the contract prices are correct and updated on the ACE trade system, Maintain  contact with identified processors and buyers and seek finance and trade opportunities, Frequently update processors about prices and contracts, Keep records of all forward contracts, Keep records of warehouse receipts that have been forward contracted, Interact with banks regarding finance instruments and integrate more banks with the warehouse receipt system and forward contracts, Liaise with and support the trade facilitation team, Provide guarantees to banks from off-takers, develop innovative insurance solutions to develop structured trade
 
Export facilitation – Being the point of contact for interested South African and other foreign buyers, traders and processors,  Keeping foreign buyers updated on market movement, prices and market forecasts, Promoting the warehouse receipt system, Liaising with the trade facilitation team in relation to export documentation, Calculating import and export parity prices on maize, soya beans, peas and groundnuts
 
Trade desk – Monitor trade facilitation desk, Follow up client orders, Reconcile trade reports to finance reports (be the link between the trade floor and the accounts department), Manage client risk monitoring client positions and market movement, Oversee procedural compliance in trade department
 
Facilitating Finance - Meet with all the local banks to secure finance for Warehouse Receipt System, Explain the warehouse receipt system to banks, Negotiable favourable interested rates with the bank, Build relationships with banks to develop new commodity finance products, Meet with development finance institutions to promote warehouse receipt financing
 
ACE is seeking a young professional with experience in fiancé/and/or trade who can work independently as well as interact with a team, The candidate must be diligent, dependable and responsible.  Preference will be given to candidates with a master degree in finance, banking, MBA or Economics and with at least 5 yrs work experience in related fields, ACE will offer a competitive package based on applicant history and experience
