FINANCIAL ANALYST INTERN

Background

The Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) Office performs fund design and administration services on behalf of the UN system and Government partners in its capacity as Administrative Agent for Multi Donor Trust Funds that are established in the context of humanitarian, transition, reconstruction and development programmes.
The increasing use of MDTFs is an application of the Aid Effectiveness Agenda and the UN Reform initiative "Delivering as One." The mechanism also responds to the need to provide flexible, coordinated and predictable funding to support the achievement of national and global priorities such as the MDGs.
The MPTF Office also provides the GATEWAY, which is a publicly available one-stop shop with project and financial information for UN Country Teams (UNCTs), national governments, donors and the general public.
In order for the MPTF Office to ensure it provides high quality services, the MPTF Office would like to engage an intern to support its work in conducting financial analysis on the financial modelling of its Funds and the work of an Administrative Agent.
