Our Client - Marine and Offshore logistics contractor based in East Africa.
Job Description -
- Set the target and monitor vessel operation activities such as towage, rescue & wreck removal, oil & gas support services, carried out economically in Mombasa, Mogadishu, Tanzania, Mozambique for both logistics and project based business.
- Monitor utility and bunker consumption to maximize value at minimum cost.
- Monitor and guide operating costs of the projects viz-a-viz revenue.
- Develop and execute business plan for maximizing existing fleet /assets utilization.
- Establish ties with international offshore project companies.
- Establish relationships with existing and potential clients to position the Marine Fleet Operation managed by the company as the preferred source at all times.
- Build and maintain key relationships at senior level with target customers.
Candidate Requirements -
Education:
- Minimum Education: Engineering degree.
- Having a MBA /Diploma in Management / Financial Management will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in senior management / project management working in the outlined marine projects that Alpha Logistics currently is involved in.
- Minimum 7-8 years experience as a profit centre head.
- In-depth knowledge of all business functions associated with ship operations, offshore/onshore logistics, oil ,Gas , and other project management.
- Proven ability to work in a challenging, dynamic and stressful environment.
- Experience working in Africa shall be an added advantage.
