Restless Development aims to be the banner carrier for youth-led development, globally and in the UK – demonstrating at the grassroots and policy levels that young people can and must play a lead role in development.
As part of a VSO led consortium, the International Youth Engagement unit is responsible for Restless Development’s delivery and global coordination of the Department for International Development-funded International Citizen Service (ICS). Over a three year period, our ICS programme will provide structured opportunities for over 1000 young people from the UK to contribute meaningfully to development programmes in Africa and Asia, through collaboration of young leaders from across the globe.
The role of Volunteer Support Officer is an excellent entry-level programme role, providing great exposure to a large scale international volunteering programme within a global development agency. The successful candidate will have excellent organisation skills, customer care experience, and an interest in, or experience of, working in an international development or youth support role.
