Transport and Logistics Manager - Beira

Our client, a major market player in the Transport and Logistics Industry, is looking for the above mentioned position to join their team to be based in Beira to operate in their new branch based there.

Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the flow of commodities across the SADC region, specifically road transport although not specifically.
- Ensure optimization of frieght opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Negotiate transport rates and define the most cost effective routes
- Retain a working knowledge of Customs procedures and documentation

Requirements
- A min of 3 years’ working experience in the industry in a similar position
- Relevant qualification
- Single
- Knowledge of customs procedures and legal requirements for cross border transport
- Understanding of Warehousing operations

Package
- 1500 NET with transport and medical aid.
