Gender Coordinator – Re-advertised
The position is available for an initial period of 2 yrs, renewable subject to performance and availability of funding
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Gender Coordinator shall be responsible for working on all gender focused technical details of project planning (including budgeting), implementation, monitoring and evaluation in coordination with the Project Manager, in collaboration with the MEAL Manager, the Gender Coordinator will take responsibility of documenting project activities and produce project progress reports as required, The Coordinator will directly work in collaboration with Govt partners to reach out to the targeted beneficiaries and will take full responsibility of coordinating and making all logistics to ensure successful implementation of all activities, The Gender Coordinator shall be responsible for developing monthly, quarterly and yearly detailed program activity implementation plans including expenditure budgets, projections and other appropriate requirement. The Gender Coordinator will contribute towards driving the ‘dual mandate’ through participation in humanitarian strategy development
Applicants should have a minimum qualification of a Bachelors degree in an appropriate social and development field such as Social Science, development Studies, Community Development or Rural Development, with a minimum of 5yrs work experience in integrated gender development activities
