Education, knowledge and skills, licences preferred, and all experienced required to perform this position in a fully competent manner

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or international Business Management, Fluency n English both written and spoken, must be able to work with multiple deadlines and high demands, Ability to handle sensitive, and confidential information with absolute discretion, 3+ yrs of solid experience in finical management and monitoring systems, preferably of large development programs, possibly complemented by academic expertise, Excellent financial and analytical skills, excellent communication and drafting skills for effective reporting on programme financial performance, Ability to manage a financial/monitoring team and  demonstrate leadership, Ability to monitor and evaluate finial and monitoring skills of communities through capacity-building efforts, Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment requiring flexibility, Familiarity with aid system and understanding of donor and governmental requirements, Prior knowledge of the region is an asset,
 Fluency in English required 

At least 5yrs of accounting and/or grants management experience, 3 yrs managing grants, experience in managing grants preferred At least 2 yrs experience managing staff 

Licence, registration or certification required to perform this position – CCA/CIMA, ICAM 

Academic, technical skills or other knowledge referred for this position – Work in an international/domestic relief and development organisation is preferred, Gateway to Grants certification preferred Excellent command of Excel and SunSystem.
