The Procurement Process and Systems Manager will be responsible for the strategy development and execution of the Procure to Pay (P2P) processes and tools including executing priorities to deliver performance targets. This position leads the P2P process and P2P technology rollout for their geography, and includes managing the deployment of P2P process and tools in collaboration with GBS and GSP (Global Sustainable Procurement).
The P2P Manager will also execute the procurement process strategy in the field while optimizing procurement systems and purchasing activity, driving utilization of the company’s preferred sourcing programs and tools through setting and executing local policy, governance and compliance programs, contract management processes, managing master data, and delivering savings and avoidance through tactical buying activity.
The Manager will own local day to day supplier relationship management with our outsource provider and drive improvements in all areas of the P2P process.
This role will reside at the Group level, supporting the Group and BUs, while getting training support and taking strategic and tactical advice from the Global Sustainable Procurement (GSP) Center of Excellence (COE) PMO Team, GSP Marketing Procurement and GBS.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- TCCC has multiple sub-optimized procurement processes and limited governance and policy management to the SPP 5.1 Procurement Policy. The position will be expected to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the right behaviors when investing company money. This includes a core virtual team of marketing-sourcing specialists – the role will set their targets and monitor & report their performance.
- Develop understanding of procurement best practices, especially in full P2P processes and how to use data available to implement those practices across the Group and BUs to drive enhanced economic value to the company.
- Analyze diverse and sub-optimized and non-standard current P2P processes globally and establish a go forward strategy that streamlines, simplifies and standardizes procurement process across our business.
- Work with procurement team to implement competitive, total low cost sourcing policies, procedures, and governance including ethics, professional conduct, business development, supplier relations, continuous improvement, quality, etc.
- Share best practices for a deeper understanding of procurement processes and systems, as well as strategic sourcing goals, practices, and processes to ensure they can effectively implement and collaborate across business units/functions
- Critically review and develop business requirements for tools and technology in support of procurement related spending activities
- Implement procurement process education/training programs and monitor progress towards group and BU strategic procurement goals
- Ensure cross-functional participation in processes which require routine interaction with mid-and executive level management
- Identify areas for process standardization and/or elimination with a focus on improved customer service and productivity
- The position will frequently interact with Procurement Director, Group FD, Finance Directors and internal and external stakeholders in defining future state as well managing and improving procurement processes in the current state.
- Collaborate with the GSP CoE to exchange best practices
- Provide change management support as new tools and technology are introduced.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
- Previous success in developing and implementing tools/process that have resulted in significant improvements in areas of the supply chain, most specifically, within the procurement function
- Process Improvement: Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate efforts around process improvement; Ability to analyze business processes and develop systems-based solutions that will improve current state
- Process Management: Knowledge of process definitions, flow-charting and process management techniques
- Professional exposures that include the consumer products goods industry, multi-regional scope of responsibility and cultural sensitivity

- Training Development: Ability to develop instructional content and curriculum using knowledge of instructional design principles and training needs assessment procedures

RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of progressive career experience in procurement related field with specific expertise in procurement processes and procurement related tools
5+ years of project management experience or complex process and technology deployment.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate degree (e.g., MBA, finance or mathematics)
Supply Chain / Procurement experience
Marketing Expense Management experience
Experience in strategic procurement activities such as sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and SRM
Experience in procurement program development, and shared service center administration and support
Career experience in procurement process or process technology strategy, ideally in a global procurement organization
