Profile required:
· Masters' Degree level of qualification in law or democratic governance· At least 12 years working experience and sound expertise in the areas of democratic governance, civic education, access to both formal and informal justice or rule of law.
· Demonstrated knowledge and experience in institutional strengthening and capacity building. Knowledge of SWAP in the governance sector will be an added advantage.
· Good understanding and knowledge of the social and political realities in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Specific Activities:
The overall objective of this assignment is to conduct a Mid-Term Review (MTR) in order toassess the overall progress of the Democratic Governance Programme to date against the anticipated results in the Financing Agreement and its Logical Framework.
Duration of the assignment: 60 working days
