Our Client - Is a Mining Capital Equipment Supplier that requires a Junior Mechanical Engineer for product design, development & manufacture of equipment, with an aspiration of growing within the organization - An innovative, lateral thinker that can get the job done.
Job Description -
- Provide calculated engineering designs, advice and solutions
- Research and partial Product development.
- Design calculations from first principals.
- Present drawings as complete designs and ensure that designs are within budget constraints
- Project documentation e.g. Engineering Change Procedures, Engineering Drawings, etc.
- Follow through with projects from concept phase through to production and implementation.
- Ensure deadlines are met timeously.
Candidate Requirement -
- BSc or BEng in Mechanical Engineering
- Btech Mechanical Engineering can also be a pre-requisite with relevant experience.
- 1-2 Years experience within a manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of MS Office products
- Strong parametric based solid modeling.
- Project management capabilities
- Component and assembly design
- Producing detailed drawings to manufacturing
- Providing manufacturing with technical support
- Walking design from concept to manufacturing
- Quality assurance
- Proficient with Solid Works or 3D equivalent software
- Must have a good grasp of engineering and design principles
- Own transport
