Qatar Duty Free (QDF) is an award winning subsidiary of Qatar Airways, the national airline of the state of Qatar and currently operates at the Departure, Arrivals, VIP and Premium Terminal of Hamad International Airport. As one of the fastest growing Duty Free operations in the world, Qatar Duty Free will be soon moving its operations to the new Hamad International Airport (HIA). HIA will also be home to the newly created QDF Food & Beverage Division which will set new benchmarks in airport hospitality.
About Your Job:
As an F & B supervisor you will be responsible for all of the business operations of a dining establishment. Duties typically include training, scheduling and managing, coaching and developing employees in a corrective manner as per company policy, as well as overseeing inventory, including food and beverages, supplies and other maintenance of restaurant equipment. Supervisors are also responsible for resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and service and making sure the business complies with health and food safety regulations. This is a leadership position that directs the work of all employees and is responsible for the overall performance of the outlet
About You:
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a strong leader whilst possessing exceptional presentation skills
Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years of job related experience with a proven track record in the ability to manage staff on a day-to-day basis within a similar culture in an international airport, hotel or shopping complex with a multimillion turnover business. You will be high school qualified and strong analytical skills and understanding on stock control,Hygiene and Health and Safety
