Illovo Sugar (Malawi) Ltd – Dwangwa Estate situated 60 kms north of Nkhotakota District invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the above vacancy in the Risk Control Section
Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science or its equivalent with 4 yrs experience in environmental Management, Experience in ISO 14000 Management Systems will be a distinct advantage
Knowledge of relevant legislations, excellent leadership skills, problem solving and analytical skills, planning and organising, verbal and written communication skills and Project management skills
Managing air, water and ground pollution on the Estate, Coordinating environmental awareness in the organisation, Managing waste management issues in the organsation, Coordinating Environmental management system in the company, Creating Awareness in the Company on various environmental issues, Making recommendations to management pertaining to purchasing, storage, handling and disposal of chemicals, Compiling sustainability data, Managing employees effectively and efficiently
