TB Monitoring and Evaluation Fellow
I-TECH – International Training and Education Center for Health has been priviledged to provide technical support to the Govt of Malawi ministry of Health (MOH), since 2008, through seconded senior technical assistants, Programmes officers and public Health Fellows, The ITEC was established in 2002 at the University of Washington in Seattle, ITEC H is funded by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Global HIV and TB (CDC-DGHT) under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIS Relief (PEPFAR)
TB Monitoring and Evaluation Fellow – ITECH – Lilongwe
The TB Monitoring and Evaluation Fellow will be based at the National TB Program within the ministry of Health, The Fellow shall work closely with partners across all TB and TB/HIV technical areas to ensure that data generated by the M&E systems are used for program planning, policy development, advocacy and program evaluation
This fellow shall also assist with strengthening systems and linkages between District Coordinators, District Assemblies and Zonal Health Support Offices, and CMERD at district level in order to capture timely, complete and accurate data
At least a bachelors Degree, in Biostatistics, Demography , Social Science or a Health related field, At least 2 yrs of relevant work experience in M&E or research on health programs
Working knowledge and hands on experience f M&E programs as they related to National Tuberculosis Program, An understanding of M&E implications of rapid scale-up of clinical medical services, A strong computer skills in MS office and statistical packages (SATA, SPSS, SAS, Epi Info), Strong communication skills in English
