RTI International is requesting expressions of interest from operations and support staff for the USAID-funded Malawi Early Grade Reading Improvement Activity (MERIT), the fie yr project will work closely with and support the Gov of Malawi’s scale up and implementation of a national education model that improves early grade reading instruction and educational outcomes, Position is based in Lilongwe but will be expected to travel to districts across Malawi, Successful candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills including fluency in English
Procurement and Logistics Specialist 3 (Procurement Officer) - RTI International
Under the direct supervision of the Finance Manager, the Procurement and Logistics Specialist 3 is to provide overall management of project procurement and logistical needs including but not limited to the processes of Procurement (Local and international), transport of procured goods, and oversight of Asset Management and inventory control, The Procurement and logistics Specialist will provide leadership of overall property management and inventory control, custody control documents, reconciliations for both expendable and non expendable items according to USAID rules and regulations and will perform all phases of sourcing to ensure bets value as well as coordination of logistics for the project by ensuring compliance with RTI logistical and procurement Standard Operating Procedures
Masters Degree and 3 yrs or Bachelors Degree and 6 yrs of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
