Project Accountant – PCI Malawi
Maintain accounting records for the emergency project operations, Produce financial and management reports required by PCI in compliance with the established accounting forms, policies and procedures, Monitor project budget and expenditure to maintain adequate cash flow to support project activities and investigate and report any deviations, Monitor the correct use of project assets according to PCI’s policies/procedures, Implement PCI’s internal control protocols, Ensure compliance with local legislation requirements
Bachelors degree in accounting with 4 yr work experience or Diploma in Accounting with at least 6 yrs work experience, Work experience and knowledge of USAID relevant rules and regulations, Ability to use computes to design basic excel templates to effectively track expenditures on a daily basis
District Project Coordinator – PCI Malawi
Will be required to coordinate all aspects of the emergency project, S/he will provide administrative leadership and guidance for effective implementation, management and stewardship of the project activities and assets, S/he will be the focal contact person for operations and logistical for all Technical Field Officers to efficiently carry out their role sand responsibilities, Develop office coordination protocols and management to support all technical officers in carrying out their roles, Ensure sound management and efficient utilisation of project resources, Ensure that project personnel travels are properly planned and managed.
Bachelors Degree in Agriculture, Social Sciences and other related disciplines plus 4-5 yrs progressive experience, Experience with watershed management and cash for work programs, Work experience and knowledge of USAID relevant rules and regulations
Procurement Officer
Ensure procurement activities are managed, developed and implemented in accordance with specified parameters meeting timeframes, budgets and objectives, Provide expert procurement advice to the project staff, Effectively liaise with suppliers to establish and maintain transparent business relationships, Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to internal customers
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Procurement and logistics management, those with advanced CIPS Diploma will be considered, Minimum 4 yrs experience in a fast paced organisation, Work experience and knowledge of USAID relevant rules and regulations, Proven knowledge and experience in the end to end procurement and contract management processes and knowledge of govt legislation , audit regulations and legal obligations, Proven high level communication skills (verbal and written) including well developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Field Facilitators – PCI Malawi
Be responsible for attaining and reporting field based targets, Provide and coordinate Training of Trainers to volunteers, local leadership and Community Agents towards realisation of project goals, Mobilise community members and groups using PLA tools and implementing activities as contained in project goals, Mobilise community members and groups using PLA tools and implementing activities as contained in project document, Conduct post training supervision of all groups to improve communities’ equitable access to services, Conduct training needs assessments of groups through and designing capacity building plans with input from Technical Coordinators to achieve project results, Prepare and document sector specific success stories and lessons learnt

Manage various information systems and databases, Manage the various information systems of the project at the field level, including data entry, processing and retrieval, Supervise Data Entry Clerks who are responsible for entering project data on computer systems, Confirm and ensure accuracy of data by performing spot checks and data quality assessments, Maintain project data bases as well as hard copy files of the project, Design appropriate databases and data collection tools as needed, Compile monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports and any others that may be required in a timely fashion meeting all deadlines and due dates

Assist with program participant registration process, Monitor the implementation of program activities, Assist with project related documentation, Assist with program related financial arrangements, Organise training events, Assist in coordinating logistical support

To drive organisational vehicles, transporting staff and or project supplies and equipment, To ensure that passengers are safe and secure while the vehicle is in use
