Our Client - An International Mining company are looking for Operator Training Instructor in Namibia.
Job Description -
- Conduct operator training programmes and assessments (theory and practical);
- Achievement of required competency of equipment operators within specified timeframes;
- Implementation of a performance based culture;
- Continuously meeting internal customer satisfaction;
- Safety, health and environment compliance as per company policies and procedures;
- Statutory compliance.
Candidate Requirements -
- Certified training instructor by a recognised institution/equipment supplier (or in the position to be readily certified);
- General open pit mining experience that preferably includes ultra large trucks and shovels: 10 years;
- Operator training in a similar role covering large scale open pit mining equipment: 3 years;
- Equipment operator experience that preferably includes ultra large trucks, shovels and drill rigs: 5 years;
- Experience in greenfield development or large scale mine expansion is a distinct advantage;
- Knowledge of training processes and assessments;
- Code B driver's license.
