The NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency is seeking the placement of two (2) Interns who are citizens of the African Union (AU) Member States under the NEPAD Young Professionals Programme (YPP).
Under the supervision of the Advisor, Policy and Regulatory, ICT Infrastructure of the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency or his/her delegate, the Interns will be responsible for supporting the implementation of e-Africa projects.
One (1) Intern will be assigned to work on the NEPAD e-Africa Portals (database of African ICT experts and Best Practices in e-Government) while the other Intern will be assigned to work on the Internet Governance Programme.

The NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency invites applicants who are citizens of African Union Member States for the post of Senior Programme Officer, Advocacy and Multi-Stakeholder Mobilisation.
Under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer and in collaboration with the Head, Partnerships and Resource Mobilisation of the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency (NPCA) or their delegates and the Head of the African Union (AU) Permanent Observer Mission to the United Nations (UN), the Senior Programme Officer, Advocacy and Multi-Stakeholder Mobilisation will work in close collaboration with the African Union (AU), Commission Economic Affairs Department, the African Group in New York, the African Members of the Open Working Group (OWG) on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the African Members of the Expert Committee on Sustainable Development Financing Strategy, the Sherpas of the High Level Committee (HLC) on Post‐2015, and other key partners in order to:
- increase the visibility of AU/NEPAD objectives among the African Group and the international community at large and ensure that African interests, at continental, regional, and national level, are well taken into account in the conceptualization of the Post‐2015 Development Framework and in the formulation of Sustainable Development Goals;
- strengthen collaboration among member states, partners in the United Nations (UN) system, African government officials, private sector, academia, civil society and other stakeholders; and
- mobilize support and raise awareness around the African Common Position (ACP), the “African” SDGs, and the African Agenda 2063.
