Qualification and skills
- Master degree relevant to the assignment (engineering or equivalent) or
bachelor degree with 3 years relevant experience in addition to the general
professional experience.
- Good personal and communication skills.
- Conversant with the principles and working methods of project cycle
management and EU aid delivery methods.
General professional experience
- Minimum of 6 years experience in road projects in developing countries,
preferably
Sub Sahara Africa region.
Specific professional experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in construction of paved roads.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in rural road projects.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in mainstreaming, or monitoring or
evaluating crosscutting
issues (Gender, Environment, HIV/AIDS) in rural development
