STAR – Training Officer
Diploma in Nursing (Nurse Midwife technician) and at least 2 yrs of experience with facilitation and adult learning skills, Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mentor others, Good knowledge of the case ad impact of HIV/AIDS and other Social Health issues in Malawi, Skills to analyse, interpret and assist to solve difficult problems arising from the organisation’s cultural diversity Be a self starter, effective team player and demonstrate verifiable result-oriented track record
Organise and carry out training for STAR project, according to the practices, procedures and quality standards, Assist the CBDA Clinical Officer with training of Community Based Distribution Agents (CBDA’s) and Peer Educators on Self-testing according to standards, Make regular visits to Franchisee’s premises CBDAs and peer educations to monitor the performance, arrange as required, refresher training for all trained personnel, Assist the QA officers in ensuring compliance to donor standards
