Human Resources Officer

WaterAid works through supporting local organizations and government authorities to design low cost sustainable projects using appropriate and affordable technologies that can be managed by the community itself. WaterAid also seeks to influence the policy change through government and other key international organizations to secure and protect the right of poor people to safe, affordable water and sanitation services.
You will support the Director of People and Organisation Development in the day-to-day management of HR operations and implementation of WaterAid People management framework within the Country Programme.
You are responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counselling. You will also provide advice and assistance to supervisors and staff and this may include information on training needs and opportunities, job descriptions, performance reviews and policies of WaterAid.
