Our client, a leading distributor of motor vehicles, car parts and accessories, seeks the services of a Human Resources Officer. The position is tenable in Blantyre
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Officer will be responsible for implementation and enforcement of the Company’s human resources management, labour relations, administration policies and procedures
A Bachelors Degree in HR Management or related field, Minimum of 5 yrs experience in HR with 3 yrs at decision making level, Sound understanding of HR Best practices and processes, Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills, Proactive and decisive + Analytical +Ethical +Team player
SH&E Management – Oversee the implementation of the company’s SH&E Management System and adherence to all relevant local SH&E statutes,
Performance Management and Staff Development – Assist in management of the company’s staff performance management and staff development programmes
HR Policies – Enforcement and updating of HR management policies in the areas of
Recruitment and Placement, Staff training and development, Compensation, Rewards and Recognition and Safety, Health and Environment (SH&E) management
Labour Laws and Regulations – Ensure that the company complies at all times with existing labour legislation and shareholder policies and practices
Management of Junior Payroll – Ensure that junior payroll is timely prepared, authorised and processed
Management of Sub-contractors – Oversee sub-contractors in the areas of security, pension, insurance, medical aid and staff canteen
