Summary of Assigned Duties
Duties include:
- Administrator – The incumbent is responsible for the maintenance and administration of the software applications, related services (database service, web server, authentication service, search service, content management service, etc…). The incumbent is responsible for managing and maintaining standard configurations, monitoring and analysis tools, as well as assisting with the solution of the problems related to software application and related services and components as a part of the incident management process. If required, the incumbent will assist with the co-ordination of tasks of junior staff and onsite/offshore consultants.
- Deployment Team Member – The incumbent is responsible for final testing and deployment of software applications and related services and components as well as all related technical documentation as a part of release management process.
- Analyst – The incumbent is responsible for analyzing the technical needs of customers, end-users and all stakeholders while helping identify technical problems and propose solutions as a part of problem management process.
- Planner – The incumbent must be able to analyze ICC partners overall requirements and develop a comprehensive plan that meets overall goals and objectives as a part of service level management process and assist in the preparation of proposals / service delivery agreements as required.
- Work extended hours or shifts as part of ICC's extended service coverage scheme, and provide stand-by services, if and when required.
- Perform other duties, as required.

Functional Knowledge and Skills
Essential:
- Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005/2008/2012, including good knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Excellent knowledge of .NET based web applications in a Windows environment
- Excellent knowledge of at least two of the following: MS SharePoint, SAP Business Objects, LDAP, MS BizTalk, DotNetNuke, Drupal
- Excellent knowledge of PowerShell scripting and /or other IT process automation tools or frameworks
- Excellent knowledge of MS Windows Server, including good knowledge of Active Directory
- Good understanding of Local and Wide Area Network concepts
- Good understanding of Virtualization technologies
- Good understanding of storage technologies, memory management, disk arrays, NAS/SAN
- Good knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- Ability to grasp complex concepts, logical and analytical approach to solving problems
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision

Education
Essential:
- University degree in information science, mathematics, telecommunications, information science management or other similar or related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Certification in SQL Server, SharePoint or other relevant server technology
Desirable:
- Advanced university degree in information science, mathematics, telecommunications, information science management or other similar or related field.
Experience
Essential:
- At least seven (7) years of experience in software application design, maintenance and support in complex IT environments
- Significant experience in automating release, configuration, administration and maintenance of production application systems
- Significant experience in Project Management (preferably using PRINCE2)
- Significant experience with at least two of the following:
o MS SQL Server 2000 through MS SQL Server 2012
o MS Sharepoint 2007 through 2013- Significant experience in drafting and maintaining technical documentation
- Experience in LDAP and IIS servers
Desirable:
- Experience working in international organizations
Languages
Expert knowledge of English is required.
