Business Development Officer - Malawi Stock Exchange –
Will be responsible for providing technical and professional leadership in designing, planning, execution and monitoring of MSE’s Market and Product development,
Develop and execute marketing, promotion and partnership programs that add value to the MSE brand, Coordinate the planning and organising of workshops, seminars, conferences, exhibitions and road shows designed to create awareness and sensitise stakeholders including the general public, To coordinate periodic updates of the MSE website and ensure that the information is current and accurate, Manages community awareness programmes covering students at the universities, Colleges, secondary and primary school, Direct the formulation, production and distribution of all information on MSE products, Maintain and improve on the public relation interface with all MSE stakeholders – member firms, regulators, investor base (current and prospective), listed companies and the media, Develop and implement strategies to attract effective demand for the products listed on the Exchange in line with the corporate plan, Maintain and improve strategic relationships with other Stock Exchanges, Prepare quarterly and Half Year Reviews of the Market, Coordinate the review, redesign and implementation of the data vending concept, including product segmentation, pricing, promotion and vendor sign
Degree in a business related Discipline, 3 yrs in a commercial role ideally in a financial service environment , Knowledge in the stock exchange/capital market industry, Understanding of the rules and acts governing the Exchange, Computer skills, Customer service, Financial reporting skills, Securities Trading skills, Numeracy and statistical skills, Monitoring and evaluation skills.

Operations Manager – Malawi Stock Exchange – Blantyre
Must have a post-graduate degree in the fields of Economics or Finance or accountancy or Business/Strategic Management, ay Stock Exchange, CFA type qualification would be an added advantage , be familiar with the development of capital Markets in Malawi, Have a good understanding of and working experience in a stock exchange (although those without will also be considered), Be familiar with the development of the capital markets in Malawi, Be mature, self motivated, eloquent and good communicator capable of dealing with people at all levels, locally regionally and internationally, Be computer literate
Supervise the conduct of cal over sessions and dissemination on stock market trading information to the general public and market players, Develop and execute programmes aimed at developing the stock market, Review rules and regulations that govern listed companies Develop and disseminate stock exchange awareness materials to the general public, Maintain smooth operation of trading systems of the Exchange, Monitor and ensure adherence to fair trading practices as required by MSE rules, Maintain safe and sound clearing and settlement systems for the Exchange and ensure timely settlement of the transacted deals, Facilitate and review listing applications, Compile and interpret economic information, Coordinate administrative duties, Perform any other duties that he may be called upon to perform from time to time
