Job Qualifications
Internationally recognized relevant engineering degree or diploma
Minimum 8 years' experience of which at least 3 years should be in the installation of large diameter (>3m diameter) steel tunnel liners, covering all aspects including fabrication, installation, concreting, grouting and corrosion protection.
Will be responsible for construction monitoring of the rehabilitation of the bottom outlets of a dam, which involves the installation of 6m diameter steel liners. He will report to the Resident Engineer.
Job Description
The projects that the person will have worked on would typically be dam and hydropower projects which included the installation of large diameter steel tunnel linings.
The experience that the person would need would be involvement in either the construction itself or the supervision of such works.
The ARE role would be to monitor progress against programme, assess method statements, monitor compliance with specifications and other quality parameters, monitor health and safety compliance, assist with measurement and contractual issues.
Duration: 24 months.
