Marketing and Research Specialist
An exciting and challenging opportunity has risen within Old Mutual Group, in Marketing Department. Applications are invited to fill the role of Marketing and Research Specialist
In this role, the incumbent will be required to provide customised business intelligence and market research to assist in shaping the groups marketing strategies and business plans
Gathering data on competitors and analyse their prices, sales and method of marketing and distribution, develop and implement procedures for identifying advertising needs, Using consumer insights to guide the marketing campaigns and inspire high quality creative, Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies, Market research and benchmaking of target markets, analysis of company products and services in relation to competitors, Conduct research on consumer opinion and marketing strategies, Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing, Manage and update various databases
A relevant Degree in marketing or a Degree in Business Studies
1-2 yrs in a similar position, Market research or statistics will be added advantage, Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Strong team player, Critical thinking, Analytical skills
