For all positions, computer literacy is a must and those conversant with sage Accounting Package will have an added advantage

Data Management and Biostatistics Core Leader – College of Medicine
Will be responsible for providing oversight of all data management and biostatistics activities of the Malawi ICEMR Project
Post is tenable in Blantyre for a period of 2 yrs, if work performance is satisfactory, contract renewals are possible
Masters Degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics or other relevant field from a recognised institution, Minimum of 3 yrs of previous full-time working experience in a data management position, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Stata required; experience with R or SAS preferred, Experience in using electronic data capture system: REDCap and ODK preferred, Experience building data dictionaries and creating statistical programs to generate output with minimal supervision, Experience working on academic research projects involving multiple active protocols with international collaborators, Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
The position will attract a salary with benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications as applicable to contract staff in the College of Medicine
