Grade M3, Dept: Monitoring and Evaluation, Lilongwe, Reporting Responsibility: Project Manager
To provide overall leadership in the planning and management of monitoring supervision and evaluation, To strengthen programme monitoring and ensure reporting of the key Service delivery indicators is done in accordance with agreed standards and sectoral best practices, To manage the project Management Information System

Develop internal Review Board/Research Ethics Committee applications and oversee process, facilitate development of Monitoring and Evaluation Framework and implementation/Annual work plans for programme/project, Provide leadership to the monitoring and evaluation technical working group in GLOHOMO, Participate in the project proposals design (mainly log frame and M&E aspects) and maintain contacts with other agencies equipped with field based M&E systems and GIS units, Facilitate Coordination of the M&E activities staff management, reports writing etc), Develop formats and time schedules for indicator monitoring reports, Facilitate development of project information needs and take the lead in monitoring program implementation and evaluate impact, Facilitate research, documentation and timely dissemination of results in line with the agreed objectives to improve programme performance, Provide leadership in preparing terms of reference for external evaluations and engagement of interns, Determine M&E related training needs and facilitate training of GLOHOMO facility members in monitoring and evaluation system
At least Degree in Health management Information Systems (HMIs), Demography Social Sciences, Statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation, At least 3 yrs hands on experienced in M&E of Health related project
