Palliative Care Association of Malawi (PACAM) is a network of individuals and organisations working together with support the development of Palliative Care in Malawi, improving access and building quality, This is achieved strategically through advocacy, training, technical advice and support, The Palliative Care Association of Malawi with funding from USAID through Counterpart International STEPS project is implementing a project on promoting community based palliative care for PLHIV at Mitundu Community hospital T/A Chitseka Lilongwe and Mpemba health centre T/A Nsomba in Blantyre
 
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Project Coordinator tenable at Mitundu Community Hospital in Lilongwe and Mpemba Rural Hospital in Blantyre
 
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Coordinator to be based at the targeted health facility, responsible for implementing the project in the site
 
Project Coordinators will provide support to Palliative care and ART services.  They will receive referrals from the community and linked discharged patients from the wards to the community, Responsible for daily operations, activity implementation writing and submitting reports to the operation manager, Will also facilitate networks and linkages for partnership with other relevant organisations working within the targeted site, Monitor referral system in both health facility and community
 
stakeholders in implementing activities, Responsible for data collection, monitoring and reporting at both health and community levels, Overall responsibility of organising and coordinating project interventions including sensitisation, orientation and training activities at both health and community levels
 
A health professional with a Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Should have a certificate Diploma or Degree in Palliative Care with at least 3 yrs relevant experience, Minimum of 2yrs experience in M&E, The candidate should be registered with Medical Council of Malawi, Thos with certificates/diploma in community work will have an added advantage
