Seeking project director to manage multi-year, USAID-funded agricultural development project in Mozambique. Position is contingent on award. Successful candidate should have 7+ years experience forging commercial market linkages, and leveraging private investment in Africa. Must have hands-on success integrating smallholder farmers into local, regional and international supply chains; be skilled coordinating in-country activities with diverse range of industry stakeholders; and be proficient tracking and reporting sales and income results. Technical, team, and budget management skills required, as well as Portuguese language capabilities and advanced degree in relevant field. Prior experience on other USAID projects and/or in Mozambique highly preferred.
