Accounts Clerk – Debtors - Central East African Railways Company Limited(CEAR)
Shall include performing duties in engaging with Debtors on professional manner, preparation and posting of intercompany invoicing, distribution of sales invoices of the day to day business of the Finance Department
Engage with Debtors in a professional manner, preparation and posting of intercompany invoicing, Raising of debt notes where necessary, Raising of invoices for other income, Preparation and posting of rental income invoices, preparation and distribution of debtor’s statements, Distribution of sales Invoices, Clearing and balancing of Station accounts and Petty Cash, debtors reconciliations, reconciliation of Revenues with commercial dept, Maintaining debtors files and supporting documentation, Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reporting to management on outstanding debtors, Ensure debtor collection are in line with the agreed budget process i.e. timeframes, Supply input to the annual budget process and highlight monthly fluctuations timeously
PAEC/ACCA technician Diploma, Strong technical accounting background, At least 3 yrs in a similar position, Strong Excel and database skills, Access experience preferred, Strong analytical and problem solving skills, Strong organisational skills, Team player and have ability to work independently, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout company organisation
